Your content

When you publish an Engram — including any Soul text, Vessel artwork, audio, or other files you upload — you affirm that you own the content or otherwise have all rights necessary to upload, distribute, and license it through Eidola. You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

You retain ownership of content you publish. By publishing, you grant Eidola a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and allow other users to download the content you publish, for as long as it remains published.

Third-party content

Eidola does not pre-screen user-uploaded content for ownership or rights. If content you upload incorporates material owned by a third party — characters, artwork, voices, likenesses, or otherwise — responsibility for securing the necessary rights rests with you, not Eidola. Eidola disclaims all liability for infringing, unauthorized, or otherwise unlawful content uploaded by users, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Removal of content

Eidola may remove, unpublish, or refuse to host any content at its sole discretion — including in response to a rights holder’s complaint, a violation of these Terms, or any other reason — without prior notice.

Account termination

Eidola may suspend or terminate your account, and remove any content associated with it, if you violate these Terms, publish content that infringes another party’s rights, or engage in conduct that Eidola determines, in its sole discretion, is harmful to Eidola or its users. You may close your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Eidola is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Eidola is not liable for any damages arising from content uploaded by users, including but not limited to claims of infringement, defamation, or other unlawful conduct by a third party uploading content through the platform.

Changes to these Terms

Eidola may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new version identifier above. Continued use of Eidola after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
