Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account identity. We use Supabase Auth to handle sign-in (including OAuth via providers like GitHub). We store the identity information your provider shares with us — such as your email address, username, and avatar — along with any profile fields you add (display name, bio).

Uploaded content. When you publish an Engram, we store the package you upload (Soul text, Vessel clips, metadata) and any preview assets generated from it, so that other users can browse and download them.

Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Directory and Forge are used (e.g. page views, traffic sources, and aggregate usage patterns). Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address and device/browser characteristics. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how it handles this data.

Third-party processors

Eidola relies on a small number of third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for accounts and published Engrams.
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
• Google Analytics — usage analytics for the Directory and Forge.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data retention

We retain your account information and published content for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service (e.g. so other users can continue to download Engrams you’ve published).

Account closure & deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon a verified deletion request, we will remove your profile information and unpublish any Engrams you own within a reasonable time, except where retention is required for legal, security, or legitimate operational reasons (e.g. abuse prevention records).

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves — particularly as analytics or other data collection is introduced. We will update the date above when we do.
