Setup Guide

Install Eidola

npm install -g @eidola.app/cli

Requires Node.js 20 or later.

Create your Eidola folder

Create a folder called Eidola anywhere on your computer — this is where your Eidolons live. Download an Engram from Browse and unzip it inside.

📁 ~/Documents/Eidola/

Any location works — you choose.

Adds the Eidola MCP server to Cursor. Approve the install prompt when it opens.

Fully quit and relaunch Cursor. MCP changes don't take effect until restart.

Run this in a terminal, then open the Shrine URL in a browser on your display. Set your Eidola folder, choose an Engram, and Awaken.

Press F11 to go fullscreen. Drag the browser window to your display first.

Verification prompt

Paste this into Cursor's chat. You should see your Eidolons listed.
